The Ghost Within
The Ghost Within is an experiment attempting to reveal the ghost that might live within us. This long-term series of photographic portraits uses a lensless, multimodal technique derived from the camera obscura, with multiple pinholes projecting the subject’s image onto both digital and analog photographic substrates.

Large, medium, and half-frame formats are recombined through a bespoke process, exploring what a portrait might reveal beyond physical appearance.
Very long exposures and carefully arranged lighting make each sitting something akin to a tarot reading: an attempt to distill one’s presence in the moment. The images seek to reveal not only the body’s forms and textures, but also the subtle resonance between a person and the surrounding space.
What remains is an act of interpretation: an image formed by photons passing from the subject through pinholes and imprinting directly onto film or sensor, as though the ghost itself had left its trace in light.
